A note on legal standing. No legal entity has been registered for this
service yet. Until the operator supplies an entity name, registered address and governing
jurisdiction, this policy is an operational statement, not a binding document from a named
company. Nothing here should be read as the privacy policy of a registered organisation.
What this service does
Certline is a TLS certificate inspection tool. You paste a hostname; the service opens a
TLS connection to that host on port 443, reads the certificate the server presents, and
shows you its expiry date, issuer, subject alternative names, chain depth and fingerprint.
What we collect
Nothing.
- No accounts, no sign-up, no user profiles.
- No cookies, no tracking, no analytics scripts.
- No stored results. Each check is a single request/response and nothing is written to disk.
- No email addresses, no logins, no payment details.
The hostname you check is sent to the certificate-checking backend to complete the TLS
query, as it must be for the tool to work. It is not retained, associated with any identity,
or used for any other purpose.
What we do not do
- We do not scan ranges or enumerate subdomains.
- We do not send email alerts, reminders, or digests.
- We do not sell, share, or disclose any data, because there is no data to sell or share.
Contact
There is no support mailbox for this service yet. The operator has not supplied a contact
address. If you have a privacy question, it cannot currently be directed to a named
individual or organisation.
