No legal entity has been registered for this service. The operator must supply a registered entity name, address and governing jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone. Until then, this document is an operational statement of how the service is intended to function, not a binding contract with a named organisation.

What this is

Certline is a TLS certificate inspection tool. You provide a hostname. The service opens a TLS connection to port 443 on that host, reads the certificate the server presents, and reports its fields. That is the entire service.

No accounts, no stored data

This service has no accounts, no user profiles, no database, and no persistent storage. Each request is independent: one request, one response, nothing retained. There is no login, no sign-up, and no way to save or retrieve a previous check.

No email, no alerts, no recurring checks

The service checks the hostname you type at the moment you type it. It does not send email alerts, reminders, or digests. It does not schedule recurring checks. It does not monitor certificates over time.

Use at your own risk

This tool is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Certificate data is read directly from the server's TLS handshake and presented without modification, but the service may be unavailable, may return errors, or may produce incorrect results if the target server misbehaves or the network path is unreliable. Do not rely on this tool as your sole certificate monitoring mechanism.

Limitations

No compliance claims

This service does not claim compliance with any standard, certification, regulatory regime, or audit framework. It is a diagnostic tool, not a compliance product.

Billing

Free tier. Certline's Free tier costs €0. No payment, no credit card, no account required. Every feature listed on the Free plan is available at no cost.

Team tier (planned). A paid Team tier is under development and is not yet available for purchase. No billing period, price, or payment terms have been set. When the Team tier launches, this section will be updated with the exact price, billing cycle (monthly or annual), and what happens on a failed payment.

No payment processor connected. The service does not currently have a payment processor integrated. The checkout form on the Pricing page is a demonstration of the intended flow — no real payment is collected, no data is stored, and no subscription is created.

Failed payments (future). When a payment processor is connected and the Team tier launches, failed payment attempts will be retried automatically three times over seven days. After the retry period expires without a successful charge, the subscription will be downgraded to the Free tier. No data loss will occur.

Refund policy (future). The refund policy will be published when the Team tier launches. No payment has been taken to date, so no refunds are outstanding.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated if and when a legal entity is registered. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change.
